Elesys’s Environmental Management System is ISO 14001:2004 registered. Protecting the environment is an obligation we share with all citizens; therefore, it is our Environmental Policy to strive to eliminate environmental risks of our operations. As we conduct our business operations into the future, we commit to establish and maintain an effective environmental management system to ensure that we are meeting stated environmental laws and regulations, or any other relevant requirements, and that encompasses the integration of sound environmental practices in all of our business decisions.

Recycling Efforts
In the last year, ELESYS has worked to reduce the amount of waste our operations create through the implementation of a company-wide recycling and re-use initiatives. This effort resulted in a 65% reduction in landfill waste in 2009 even as our production volume increased. The greatest contributor to this reduction was our implementation of corporate procedures for waste reduction through. Our associates championed several notable improvements to our process including, returnable containers, waste recycling, plastics recylcing, reuse activities, just to name a few. Elesys continues to identify practices that will minimimize waste from our operations while ensuring that we continue to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. |
