Events Atlanta Ekiden 2009 Piedmont Park Congratulations for the two from Elesys who ran the 2009 Atlanta Ekiden on September 29 at Piedmont Park.  The weather was perfect and all team members finished the race without requiring medical attention.  Some even had a good time! Ekiden is a long-distance relay that originated in Japan in the 17th century.  The Atlanta Ekiden Team Relay combines aspects of traditional ekiden relay such as passing of the sash between team members at exchange zones with fun elements such as awards for best team name and t-shirt.  Elesys Plays Host to Local Visitors On July 28, 2009, ENA played host to 30 visitors from the Gwinnett County business community as part of the Gwinnett Manufacturing and Logistics Council. The Gwinnett Manufacturing and Logistics Council s mission is to foster an environment that will encourage growth, development and collaboration in the area s manufacturers and logistic firms and their partners to compete locally and in a global market.   In it’s inaugural year, the Council plans on touring a number of Gwinnet’s local business. Elesys is proud to be given the opportunity to showcase our business as well as learn from other business and industries in our local community.
